WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

The Xenia Buccaneers Band program serves students in grades 7–12 across marching band, concert band, big band, and more. Running a program this size takes real resources — instruments, uniforms, equipment, and transportation all add up quickly.

Your support directly helps us:

· Keep student participation fees as low as possible so every student can be part of the band

· Purchase and maintain equipment and uniforms that keep our students looking and sounding their best

· Fund major projects like refinishing our band trailer — a rolling billboard for the Xenia community

HOW WE RAISE MONEY

Last Blast Music Fest

The Last Blast Music Festival is our signature annual event — a marching band invitational held every Fall that brings bands from across the region to Xenia. Hosting the festival is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

Admission tickets, concessions, and ad sales all support the band program directly. The 4th Annual Last Blast Music Fest will be held on October 17, 2026.

Festival Program Ads

Every year we produce a printed program for the Last Blast Music Festival. Businesses and community members can purchase ad space — a great way to show your support while getting your name in front of hundreds of festival attendees.

Ad sizes and pricing are available on the Festival page. Submissions are accepted through mid-September each year.

Whether you're a local business, a band parent, or a community supporter — a program ad is a simple and meaningful way to make your support visible.

Tag Day

Tag Day is our annual door-to-door fundraiser where band students go out into Xenia neighborhoods to talk about the program and ask for community donations. Students go out in groups by section with parent drivers — it's a chance for our kids to represent the band with pride and for the community to meet them face to face.

This Year's Goal: Refinishing the Band Trailer

Our current trailer has served the band well, but with our band growing we need an upgrade! With your help, we'll give the Xenia Bands a professional, eye-catching trailer that represents our program on the road — and on the field.
